Hit a snag with your book manuscript? Need help developing a proposal? Want an expert opinion on your writing before you pitch to agents and publishers? Little Birds can help. We offer developmental editing at a variety of levels. At the most basic, we can provide a written overview of what works well in your piece and what needs revision. Want to dive deeper? We can provide substantive comments on structure, organization, tone, narrative, and style with the option to add line editing services. Need something in between? We can create a bespoke package that best suits your writing needs. At Little Birds, we love all kinds of books, and we’re open to working with a variety of non-fiction and fiction genres. We accept creative non-fiction—memoir, essay, personal writing, and travel narratives—as well as humanities-based scholarly non-fiction, including but not limited to literature, language, history, art, film, and music. In fiction, we will happily work on literary, commercial/upmarket, and genre fiction including romance, fantasy and romantasy, speculative fiction, sci-fi, and historical fiction.
